Here's a post in response to a question we often get. Many people ask, "does my credit history follow me over the border, if I move to the US?"

In general the answer to this question is no, unless you actually have some American based credit, such as American credit cards. This however may not always be true, most bankruptcy experts recommend that you make sure to deal with any credit issues you have before you move.
